Embalakai's semi-permanent luxury tented camp sits in the heart of the central Serengeti, on the banks of the Nyabogati River in the Banagi area. Thirteen spacious canvas tents are set up for the ultimate comfort: each has its own solar unit powering the lights, plug sockets and hot water, an ensuite bathroom with a private hot shower and western toilet, a dresser and mirror, a cupboard with hanging space and a storage trunk. The bedding is high-quality 100% cotton with a blanket and duvet for the cooler evenings, and every tent has a private outside platform with seating and a table — perfect for listening to the birds or writing your journal. In camp, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a high level of service evoke the feeling of coming home. The stylish main tent looks out over the Nyabogati River, the resident baboons' tree and the distant hills. From here you have front-row access to the Great Wildebeest Migration, superb predator viewing and some of the finest game driving in Tanzania.
