Stone Town is a year-round destination, though weather affects comfort. **June to October** is the dry, cooler season — ideal for walking the narrow streets and exploring without the humidity. **December to February** is hot but largely dry. Getting There
Stone Town is the main arrival point for Zanzibar. Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) is 7km south, with direct flights from Nairobi (1.5h), Dar es Salaam (20min), Arusha, and seasonal charters from Europe. Azam Marine fast ferries from Dar es Salaam take 2 hours (multiple daily departures). Most Stone Town hotels are within walking distance of the ferry terminal.
